Privacy policy
applies to the Lastsocket app for iOS and Android and to lastsocket.com
The app collects no personal data. It has no account, no analytics, and makes no network request when you calculate. Your history lives on your phone and is deleted when you uninstall. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. This website sets no cookies.
1. Who we are
The publisher of Lastsocket is the data controller for anything described below.
2. The app
We collect nothing. The app has no account and no sign-in. It contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK. Calculations run entirely on your device; the app makes no network request to calculate, to show results, or to save history.
What stays on your phone. Your calculation history (up to 5 entries free, 50 with Pro), your last inputs per calculator, your chosen national pack, theme and other settings, and your Iz bookmarks (Pro). All of it is stored locally in the app’s own storage. We cannot see it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app. Sharing a result as text, PDF or CSV uses your phone’s share sheet; what you share and with whom is between you and the app you share to.
Store data labels. On the App Store the app is listed as “Data Not Collected”; on Google Play the Data safety section states that no data is collected or shared.
3. Purchases
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms and privacy policies. We receive no name, email, address or payment details from a purchase and cannot identify who bought Pro. The app checks your purchase through the store’s own framework (StoreKit on iOS, Play Billing on Android) and keeps the result on the device so Pro works offline. Restoring a purchase, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by the store.
4. Permissions and device access
The app requests no permissions beyond the store’s billing framework. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files. “Keep screen awake” on calculator screens is a display setting on the device, not a permission.
5. This website
No cookies. lastsocket.com sets no cookies and uses no third-party embeds, fonts or scripts; fonts and images are served from this site.
No analytics. The site runs no page-view counter and no tracking script of any kind.
The web calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent anywhere and are not stored.
Store links carry a campaign tag so the store can tell us which page the install came from. The store’s own policy applies once you tap.
6. Email
If you write to us, we keep your email and the thread only as long as needed to answer and for up to 12 months afterwards in case of a follow-up, then delete it. We do not add you to any list. Legal basis: answering your request.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold, object to processing, or complain to your supervisory authority. In practice the only personal data we may hold is an email you sent us; write to us and we will act within 30 days. Data on your phone is yours to delete by removing the app.
8. Children
The app is rated 4+ / Everyone and collects no data from anyone, including children. It is a tool for trade work and apprentices, not a service aimed at children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date, and the app’s Settings → Privacy link points to it. We will not start collecting data without changing this page first.
